Dogs spending the day together at Farmhouse & Fields

Closed-pack daycare

A small group with familiar faces.

Most of the dogs who come to the Farmhouse are regulars, which means they spend their days with dogs they know. New faces do join as spaces open, families change, and needs evolve, but the group stays intentionally small and familiar.

Melissa gets to know the dogs, their routines, and who they are comfortable with. That is a big part of why the group stays small.

Dogs are supervised throughout the daycare day, both inside and outside.

Dogs playing together at Farmhouse & Fields

A typical day at the Farmhouse.

Mornings are mostly about getting everyone settled in and giving the dogs lots of time to play, move around, and burn off some energy.

Around midday, dogs who bring lunch are fed separately. Morning half-day dogs head home, afternoon dogs arrive, and things usually get a little quieter for a while.

Then it is back outside or into another round of play before everyone starts heading home for the day.

Getting started.

Because the daycare group stays small, spaces are limited. Spots do open up as schedules change and dogs move on, so it is always worth getting in touch.

Start by telling us a little about your dog. If it sounds like they could be a good fit for the group, we’ll arrange a visit outside regular daycare hours so you can see the Farmhouse without the daycare dogs here.

If there is not a space right away, we can keep your dog on the Waitlist and reach out when an opening looks like it might suit them. When the timing is right, we’ll send you a Time To Pet invitation and sort out a first day. Some dogs start with a half day. We’ll go with what makes sense for yours.
